BREAKFAST WITH A CAUSE

Join us for breakfast and know that your meal will help support the valuable work that Prof Howes and his team performs at the Cancer Lifehouse.

April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month. To support, DentalCON will be hosting a fundraising breakfast from 7am – 8:30am on Friday April 28th for the Chris O’Brien Cancer Lifehouse. The proceeds from every ticket sold will be made to the Cancer Lifehouse to support the treatment and research of complex and rare types of cancer including head and neck cancers.

For only $65, you’ll receive breakfast and hear a CPD lecture from Prof Dale Howes discussing head and neck cancers and what you can do to support as a dental professional.

In 2022, there were 5,189 new cases of head and neck cancer in Australia alone. Oral cancers can be debilitating and life threating for suffers with 43% of oral cancer patients not surviving. Patients can suffer long term problems such as severe facial disfigurement, difficulties eating and speaking and poor mental health.

Lecture: Head and Neck Cancers and Your Role as a Dental Professional
